Parish Newsletter - Coronavirus Update
(26-Mar-2020)
The latest edition April / May 2020 of the Parish News has been printed, but the current restrictions on public life to control the spread of coronavirus mean that it is not at present possible to distribute copies in the normal way to households in Middleton, North Runcton and East Winch. It may be possible to resume deliveries if the restrictions are relaxed in time, but that seems unlikely.
We are all required to stay at home except for very limited purposes such as shopping for basic necessities. For that reason, food shops, newsagents and post offices are currently allowed to remain open. Copies of the Parish News have been placed in both the Middleton and East Winch Post Office & Stores. If you visit either premises in accordance with the permitted reasons for leaving the house, you will hopefully be able to pick up a copy of the Parish News at the same time.
The Parish News has for some years been available to view at the Middleton Parish Council website (click here). Given current circumstances, arrangements have also been made for this edition to be available on the North Runcton and East Winch Parish Council websites as well.
Thank you for your understanding and it will hopefully not be too long before normal service can be resumed. In the meantime, please stay safe.
