Local Group Plans to Restore Middleton Towers Station
(28-Mar-2022)
The Middleton Towers Restoration Group are aiming to restore the former station at Leziate into a tea room and a museum for the former Lynn and Dereham railway. We have over 300 members and followers and we have recently featured in the Lynn News, the Heritage Railway magazine and on BBC Radio Norfolk
We hope to make good progress over the coming months, as we assess the site with Network Rail to see the scale of the restoration project. We cannot rule out campaigning for the restoration of rail passenger services in the future.
Donations are very welcome, as we rely on donations to achieve our goals. However, if you cannot donate financially, your vocal and written support is definitely welcome, so please consider spreading the word far and wide. We accept donations via PayPal, bank transfer or cash if you are local to King’s Lynn.
