DESIGN FOR NEW MIDDLETON PLAYING FIELD REVEALED

The picture shown is an illustration of how the playing field will look when it is completed. The whole project is costing £80,000 which is financed by grants and donations. The company Wicksteed have been chosen as the supplier and there are facilities for all age groups ranging from children to adults, which include adventure areas and adult gym equipment. There is also seating/picnic areas where parents can relax whilst their children are enjoying themselves on the play equipment. One area that is guaranteed to be popular is the zip wire. Trees adjacent to the village hall will be removed before work begins thereby giving a clearer view to the field from the road. It is anticipated that work on the playing field will commence some time in March.
